As a result of Category 4 Hurricane Harvey who swept through Southeast Texas on Friday August 25, the city is in a state of emergency and under water.

Since then, 24 inches of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours making the situation even worse in Houston. The storm has killed only two so far and rescue teams are in full-effect from other states including New York and Florida.

Predictions show the rain is not done and will continue to reach heights of 40 inches by Wednesday. Rescue teams must triple in order to get to everyone as state officials encourage everyone to stay inside their flooded homes. The raging waters has already killed one.

We send prayers for both those Texas and the rescue teams.
