Colin Kaepernick has just landed a shoe deal with Nike for their new #justdoit campaign for its 30th year anniversary. Nike has taken a stand behind Kaepernick and his decision to take a knee on the field for the injustices of police brutality rights all around the world.
Some aren’t taking it well. Nike stock has dropped and ironic enough, some are destroying their already purchased items from Nike. In return, Nike should pick up some major support from those with the same ideas regarding the rights of black and brown people.
This deal will also help Colin’s Know Your Rights foundation which provides to “raise awareness on higher education, self-empowerment, and instruction to properly interact with law enforcement in various scenarios.”
