Cardi B. has risen from a local club celebrity to a respected female artist on the Billboard charts at No. 14 to date with her newest banger, “Bodak Yellow.

Cardi is on her way to Nicki status if she reaches No. 2. Nicki Minaj holds the trophy for “Anaconda” reaching No. 2, which was the highest-charting song for an unaccompanied female rapper with no guest features back in 2014.

Bodak Yellow has been on the charts for only five weeks and skyrocketed in one week more than 10 spots. Cardi is touring all around the world increasing her fan base appearing at Caribiana in Toronto and Veld Fest most recently.
