6ix9ine has been hit with serious legal trouble with the FEDS, but it has not stopped his success in music. Last week, the young rapper released his debut album Dummy Boy. The album comes with 13 tracks and has appearances from Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, and more.
This week, Billboard released the charts showing Dummy Boy has made it to the top 5 of the Billboard 200 charts. The album is at No. 2 trailing behind Travis Scott’s Astroworld.
As for 6ix9ine’s legal issues – the rapper was arrested by ATF and Homeland Security agents on Nov 18th for racketeering and firearms charges along with his former manager and crew. There are rumors of him being approached by Crips and moved around because of security issues as well. We are aware of his acclaimed gang-affiliation and such through his music and interviews. It is suspected that he’ll be behind bars for a while as the trial for his racketeering charges won’t begin until September 4, 2019.
